Dagg Brothers Constructions is a family-owned custom residential building company based in Northern New South Wales.
Run by brothers Mat and Anthony Dagg, we specialise in architecturally designed homes, delivering a highly personalised building experience from concept through to completion.
Rather than operating as a volume builder, we intentionally take on a limited number of projects each year, allowing us to remain directly involved throughout every stage of the building journey and deliver an exceptional level of quality and service.
Together, we combine high level construction expertise with detailed planning and clear communication, giving our clients confidence throughout the entire building journey.

Anthony Dagg
Director | Construction & Site Management
Anthony brings almost 30 years of experience in the residential construction industry, beginning his apprenticeship and career as a carpenter in Tasmania at just 16 years of age. From those early years on the tools, he has worked through every stage of the building process, progressing into leading hand, site supervisor and foreman roles across both residential and large-scale commercial projects. Today, he brings that wealth of practical experience to every Dagg Brothers home, ensuring each project is built to a standard he is proud to put his name behind. As Construction Manager, Anthony oversees every stage of the build, working closely with our trades, suppliers and consultants to ensure construction runs efficiently, safely and to the highest standard. He believes that quality construction starts with strong leadership and clear communication, creating a positive working environment where every trade has the support, organization and information they need to produce their best work. Anthony has an exceptional eye for detail and believes the best building outcomes come from doing things properly the first time. As the principal contractor on site, he is actively involved throughout construction, guiding the build from commencement through to completion and ensuring every aspect of the home complies with current building codes while meeting Dagg Brothers’ uncompromising standards for quality and craftsmanship. For Anthony, building isn’t simply about completing a house—it’s about delivering a home that will stand the test of time and one that both our clients and our team can be genuinely proud of.
Mat Dagg
Director | Planning, Design & Client Experience
Mat brings over 18 years of experience helping clients turn their ideas into thoughtfully designed, well-planned homes. From the very first meeting, Mat works closely with each client to develop a home that suits their lifestyle, budget and vision. He guides the design process from concept through to working drawings, collaborating with trusted building designers and consultants that Dagg Brothers has built strong relationships with over many years. A major focus of Mat’s role is ensuring every specification, inclusion and detail is discussed thoroughly before construction begins. He believes the time invested during planning is one of the most important parts of any project, giving clients confidence that everything they expect has been clearly documented and included within their building contract before work commences. Once the design has been finalized, Mat oversees the detailed estimating and procurement process, carefully tendering materials and engaging trusted trades to achieve the right balance of exceptional quality, value and craftsmanship throughout every home. Above all, Mat is passionate about creating a building experience that is transparent, organized and enjoyable. He prides himself on clear communication, thoughtful planning and delivering exactly what has been promised, so clients feel informed, supported and confident throughout every stage of the journey.
