Modern Coastal Duplex Development
Working with one of our experienced developer clients, this duplex pair was designed and built as an investment project, with both residences intended for sale upon completion.
Starting with the client’s preliminary plans, we worked closely with them to refine the design and develop the documentation into complete construction drawings, ensuring the homes were practical to build and compliant with the National Construction Code.
The design follows a modern coastal aesthetic, combining crisp whites with contrasting black trims, tapware, fixtures and fittings. Warm timber flooring brings softness and character to the interiors, while the light colour palette creates the open, relaxed feel synonymous with coastal living.
The objective was to deliver two contemporary homes that balanced style, functionality and market appeal—creating a quality finished product that would stand out to prospective buyers while remaining commercially considered for the developer.
